About You
It was a great learning experience, I only which there was more direction.
Everyone was nice and friendly, however, as a spring intern you are only there for a week so there is only so much you can do.
My buddy seemed very busy the entire time I was there, and as a result I felt I had to pester him for information and guidance.
You can never understand how a bank works until you spend time in one, so the information I gained was invaluable.
The Company
There is not a lot of structure; i felt this was better because it enabled me to learn more by asking the questions I thought were relevant.
There wasn't really any training, you were just trusted to ask the questions you wanted answers too.
I think within the division it gives you an excellent incite as yo can see one job and everything it entails throughout the entire day.
This is the same as understanding what a full time role looks like, by being there 24/7 you are getting the entire picture.
The fact that you get to see what the jobs really is,means that you can decide whether or not all the positives and negatives are for you.
Everything Else
It is the only experience where you truly learn how a bank works and what the culture is like.
