  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was better than most insight days I have experienced as it discussed the roles' day to day activities in more detail.

    • I liked the drinking bottle with carabiner.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • Many of the people who joined us for the group exercises talked how they and clients would usually deal or have dealt with the scenarios in the exercises.

    • The information I received helped me better understand what an actuary does, which will help me to decide if a career as an actuary is for me.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured. A timetable for the day was sent well before insight day.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • The staff wanted to help us better understand what services Towers Watson offers, the position of the company in the industry and the careers offered. Some of the staff members at the lunch were friendly and went out of their way to meet us, talk about what they did and what we were doing.

    • The company invested a lot in us. Many different staff members attended the event through the day all with different backgrounds.

    • The insight day was only for a day, but those involved in presentations discussed work/life balance, exams and the people and clients they worked with.

    • They were focused on company culture and to give us a better understanding of what it would be like to work for company.

    • There were many opportunities to meet employees of the company during the day.

    • There wasn't much time for networking/social event opportunities except for lunch.

    • One of the presentations mentioned the activities the company has available such as volunteering for charity work.
