  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Exciting, paced and fulfillin

    • a series of writing and video editing sessions were provided

    • There was always something to do, but you have to ask.

    • Everything I did was reviewed afterwards, but I was given responsiblity

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • It was certainly a reality check. In this sort of industry you have to experience it to see if you can truly handle it - it first it made me doubt myself but after a few days I felt at home and gave me such a useful insight into what I need to do in the future.

    • My team were chatty and approachable - you could easily have a laugh with them too.

    • Dates and times were set well in advance - they planned where they were going to put me and knew what I would was going to do.

    • Very general training, including health and safety.

    • Certainly an environment I liked and people I could easily get along with.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • met a friend from university in the café daily.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Likely I lived with parents nearby, but travel on the tube costed roughly £5 a day. Nevertheless, I did not really have time (nor energy!) to socialise.

    • Not far from London... what more can I say!

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • Skyride and Sky Fest were taking place, although I did not attend. But I was invited with my group to a bar for a leaving colleague.
