The Role
There were many afternoons spent photocopying which did get quite tedious. However, people were really friendly and nice.
People were really nice and welcoming. But there were times when they were so busy that they just ignored you, which is understandable!
Felt like I was thrown in at the deep end at times when i was given work with little explanation but just expected to know what to do. At other times, management would spend time explaining stuff clearly to me.
Not too busy at all. Did get a bit busy at times.
Did work that was used for clients- very exciting.
Gained a lot of knowlege but again, too much time spent photocopying.
The Company
I've been to friendlier law firms...
Could have been better- career presentations by lawyers were mostly ill-prepared. But the placement as a whole was well structured with lots of variety.
At times they spent time teaching me stuff, but at others it felt they were just too busy for me.
Company Parties/Events
Tough competition for jobs and they made that clear.
The Culture
Was good if you played football and could join the football team. For non sporty people, less so...but there were 2 good social nights organised for us.
They didnt provide parking...ended up paying £60 just on parking.
Had some v good nights and good value for money
Only if you were sporty really...and in particular football.
