  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Very informative week - learnt a lot in just four days (then an assessment day on the fifth)!

    • Everyone and especially the grads on my rotations were so friendly and helpful

    • Very good - training simulations were useful to aid general understanding of markets and how they work

    • Learnt a lot about sales and trading - will even help my finance studies at uni

    • Very well organised!

    • Great - made some really good friends even though it was just a week

    • Had training on the first two days so great for an insight week - very varied too

    • Very informative overall - good training days and then work shadowing was especially beneficial

    • Would be good to have more work shadowing so maybe a two week insight would be better, but this was a good overview definitely

    • Very valuable experience - given me more of an idea what to expect if I want to work at RBS or indeed in sales/trading in general

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Those who lived outside M25 were also provided accomodation which was generous indeed

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes some great socials including drinks and a quiz with good food

    • Very enjoyable two nights

    • The CSR stuff RBS runs is really good - we even got to take part in half a day of one

    • Definitely - it will help you know if a role in a bank like this is right for you
