  • - Combination of real desk work and presentations - Amazing team that valued my help and explained me the type of work they were doing; were happy to answer all my questions - Really good networking events and inspirational talks by senior leaders - Interns from different parts of Europe, all very motivated and friendly - Review at the end to highlight strengths and what further steps to take to improve weaker areas - Friendly, joyful atmosphere, everybody wants you to do well

  • - 'Buddy' system to ease you into the team. Could count on mine for every question I had or help I needed. Very useful to introduce you to people across the bank. - Mentor assigned that was very helpful with tips for the future, interview technique, skills to improve, and explaining the skill differences between different desks to see where I fit best - Graduate recruitment team always in touch to see how we were doing

  • - Skills sessions on interview, CV, networking, emotional intelligence, public speaking - Case study for IBD and Global Markets (Really good interview practice) - Very inspirational in terms of seeing the type of people I want to work with one day and type of work I want to contribute for (back to uni very motivated!)

  • - Really good mix of presentations, desk work and individual assignment - Could maybe have more presentations over last days or spread presentations over full period, as there was less going on on final days.

  • Different networking events/meals. One of the highlights for me was the afternoon tea with WIN (Women in Nomura) - truly inspirational talk about getting where we want to go!
