The Role
The placement was very well organised and the project role was challenging and rewarding
All colleagues within my project and on the placement scheme treated me like I was important and valued
My manager was sat next to me and we worked very closely together to deliver the project on time
Very busy, most days was a challenge in time and work management however we were encouraged to leave at a reasonable time and enjoy the social side
I was entrusted with a large amount of responsibility and my tasks were imperative to the project being delivered on time
I learnt o improve my self-confidence and also witnessed first hands the highs and low of project management and business dynamics. I also learnt a whole new skill set of SQL server management studio in the 6 months
The Company
There was a good balance of working hard but also a strong social side to the office
Very well organised and we were always kept informed of any changes/events
The firm obviously invest a lot of time in placement students and are training you up to be able to contribute to the company in the future
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I was offered a job two weeks after completing the placement
The Culture
Yes numerous intern events with other university students were organised
It was cheap when there were corporate events but london living is expensive
There were mainly bars for after work drinks rather than nightclubs but transport links were very good
Accenture organises numerous charity days and alos rpovides alot of functions and sports events
