The Role
I found it really enjoyable and feel I have gained a lot from my 6 weeks.
Everyone was really friendly. Apart from the initial nerves I got along with everyone.
Never felt embarrassed to ask for help.
I had enough work to stop me being bored and not too much that I felt swamped.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility all my work was checked before or if i was corresponding to clients I had to CC in another member of staff.
It's very reassuring to know I can do the work of which I see my future career and that I am good at it.
The Company
Sometimes it was quite due to holidays but everyone is so friendly and gets along really well.
Everything was very well organised.
I was given online learning, a new laptop. Time was spent with me on every task so that I understood it and then because of this I never had any problems with the task.
Company Parties/Events
Hopefully I will get a job with the aim to take on 90% of interns.
The Culture
Yes I was out with the interns alot during my placement and there was alot of office social events roughly one a week. Whether staff lunches, trips to the edinburgh fringe and charity quizzes.
I live in glasgow so my accomodation was still free, and its pretty cheap to socialise here aswell.
Glasgow nightlife is the best.
I couldnt attend all the outside opportunities as there were so many.
