About You
The two days residential spring insight programme was very well-structured. It gave a very good overview of the company and their operations - Audit, Audit Advisory, Tax and Consulting through various case studies, business games and challenges.
Deloitte invested a lot of time and resources in this programme. All the staffs were very welcoming and there were a lot of networking opportunities.
The information pack was very informative. The staffs also gave a good presentation on their respective departments and roles. They were also very helpful when it comes to answering our inquiries.
Deloitte even had speakers who came and talk us through about self-branding and how we could improve our networking skills. It was very inspiring. Also developed good teamwork skills and interpersonal skills through various case studies and business games when we were working in teams.
The Company
They had a well-planned scheduled. Everything was always on time. Very professional.
The staffs were very friendly. The info session was also very engaging.
Deloitte had external speakers who came and trained us on self-branding and networking skills. Find that quite inspiring and helpful. They also invested a lot of time, human capitals and resources in us.
The information session had a good overview into each department and their respective roles. The networking opportunities with the staffs definitely help in getting greater insights into their roles and responsibilities.
The partners, managers and associates were very helpful in this area.
Spring into Deloitte definitely gave me a great overview of Deloitte and greater insights into their various divisions - Audit , Audit Advisory, Tax and Consulting. The experience was invaluable. Having coming from an engineering background in university, the programme has helped me a lot in deciding which career line I would like to progress with.
Everything Else
Travel costs were reimbursed. Food and accommodation were also provided.
Main networking opportunities were within the industry.
There were a lot of opportunities for spring interns to network with the staffs after each info session. Deloitte also organised a wonderful dinner in our hotel, where we had invaluable opportunities for networking.
The Deloitte Futsal Competition in Budapest caught my attention. It's an interesting sports event that could strengthen the bonding between staffs across the European offices. Deloitte also has a lot of volunteering activities and charity programmes.
Yes, definitely. I would encourage students from all disciplines to apply for this programme - "Spring into Deloitte". It not only gives you an overview and insight into the company, but Deloitte also spend a lot of time and resources in training you (could not emphasize on this more ...) .
