About You
Innovative activities, great people
Everyone from reception to trainees and partners, the recruitment team and the Silks team were really welcoming and made me feel like part of the firm even on the first day
We were guided in every activity and durung lunch and on office tours
The interview skills and branding workshops were particularly helpful. The commercial awareness workshop didnt provide much new information
The Company
It was quite varied but the first day was a bit long
Most of the activities lined up were really engaging though one or two were slightly more monotonous
Workshops that provided us with skills that would help in the applications
Talking with people working at the firm was epspecially helpful
It was a good exposure to the firm but two days is pretty short to really get a good or thorough grasp
Talking to the trainees was especially helpful
Everything Else
Travel and free lodging for people coming from outside London
Lots of networking with trainees, associates and the recruitment team. To a lesser extent with partners as well
Cooking with Silks was great
Sports and pro bono activities as well as socials and trips
Great fun and well worth the time
