About You
The programme was very informative and enjoyable. I would strongly recommend it.
The programme only lasted for 3 days, therefore I wouldn't expect to feel like a valued member of the company. However I was made to feel like gaining a place on the programme was a great achievement.
The graduate recruitment team were always available to answer any questions I had and support me through the programme.
The information was incredibly valuable. I gained an insight into a range of divisions and was given the opportunity to work shadow. This will help me to make a more informed career choice going forward. In addition, the networking skills I developed and contacts I made will be very useful.
The Company
Every minute was planned out for us, with a range of presentations, workshops and networking events.
All business representatives were very welcoming and willing to answer questions. The mid-week social was very enjoyable.
Considering it was a 3 day programme, the company invested a lot of time and resources to ensure we had the best experience at Citi.
During the work shadowing I learnt what it would be like to work in my chosen division. More work shadowing would have deepened my understanding.
The only way to truly understand the culture of a company is to meet employees, and there were plenty of opportunities to meet employees during the programme.
I now feel like I have a strong knowledge of a number of business areas and am therefore in a better position to make an informed career choice.
Everything Else
All travel expenses were reimbursed, and accommodation was provided for those living far from London.
There were many opportunities to network with employees, including speed networking and a social event.
The speed networking was an efficient way to network with a range of people, and the drinks reception was very enjoyable.
This was mentioned briefly on the first day, and if you were particularly interested then you could bring it up during networking events.
This programme gave me an insight into the opportunities available at Citi and helped me to make a more informed career choice.
