About You
I really enjoyed the event as truly gave a good insight into all of the different areas of banking as well as enabled me to improve my skills and network.
All of the people working at Citi as well as other participants were extremely friendly. Although you could see that everyone had a busy schedule, they didn't mind taking some time to talk with you.
As already mentioned everyone was ready to aswer any questions, even ones that might sound stupid.
Nor particularly relevant for degree studies, but the insight gave a great opportunity to develop interview and CV writing skills.
The Company
Good balance of talks, interactive sessions and networking event.
Although intense, it also proved to be quite fun.
The program consisted mostly of group activities, but you could also get one on one guidance on improving your CV and take part in work shadowing.
It gave a very good general overview and if you had a particular interest in one certain department, there were always people around who could answer any of your questions or if not, recommend someone who could.
You got to talk to a lot of people which helped to form a general understanding.
It was very helpful and informative, but of course one will need to take some time later individually. Taking part in the program is still a very good starting point though.
Everything Else
My train ticket to London as well as tube travel costs were both reimbursed.
Event(s) took place daily.
I especially enjoyed the speed-networking session as in a very short time frame you got to meet people from all of the departments.
I heard about the community of women at Citi and what they do.
A really great and well structured event helping you to understand what it would really be like working at a bank.
