About You
It has been an amazing experience, really inspiring and insightful.
The whole team I worked in has been very kind and ready to answer all my doubts, to show me their main activities and to spend time with me, providing an invaluable insight, impossible without this program.
HR people gave us a perfect introduction and overview of the whole week and my buddy provided me all the advice, guidance and support to enjoy my time there and to succeed in my tasks.
At the moment it's hard to find a perfect link, but I am sure that even if I was in a very specific sector (FIG IBD) all the things I had to cope with will be extremely useful in my future studies and career. If it is not the case, the insight itself has been so important to have a more clear and real idea about this industry.
The Company
Very well organized and very professional people. Real work and exposure since first day.
All people in the office were really busy, but all of them tried to find time to spend with me. Real working days and true working atmosphere, but it has been an amazing place to be.
I felt part of the team since the very first moments. I did not receive feedback or outcomes yet, but Citi showed the willingness to invest in all of us, giving us a lot of tasks and exposure.
Real and genuine involvement, the right way to find out how things work, how people in Citi carry out their activities.
Maybe not the first thing I would mention, but it is possible to feel how important people, their potential and their ingenuity are for the firm.
As I said, it has been an incredible opportunity to see how thing work, how the real life inside Citi is. Excellent program to help students developing their own ideas about this industry.
Everything Else
All travel expenses reimbursed (lunch in the office included).
Sure, one of the main pros about this experience is the networking opportunity to get to know employees and managers.
There were 2 events in 5 days, so you have plenty of time to get to know other students in the program and managers from different areas. Very informal and constructive at the same time. Take these occasions to ask as more questions as you want and be proactive.
Main focus on working aspects, I can not say.
Absolutely, so important to be there, so amazing as experience. If you have the opportunity, do it!
