About You
A little bit frantic at times during the business games and a lot of presentations we had to do were very similar to each other. Icebreakers were enjoyable and the networking events were good fun.
The staff were all very friendly.
They gave us all the tools we need to succeed in interviews and progress to the summer vacation scheme.
A session on self branding was very useful. There was also a session dedicated to advice for interviews and assessment centers which were very insightful.
The Company
Seemed to flow smoothly.
Icebreakers were good fun and kept moods up. Towards the end of the days some people seemed a bit tired but the atmosphere was generally good.
Self branding and interview training sessions were very useful. Mock interview questions were given in groups as a chance to get feedback from both interviewers and peers.
The staff were honest and spoke about the positives and negatives of a full time role. They seemed to be enjoying it and spoke about the perks offered and the day to day jobs.
Networking with staff gave a good insight into the culture.
The presentations about the different business areas were very useful
Everything Else
Travel reimbursement was available up to £50.
There was a chance to meet employees during the business games, lunches and at dinner.
Dinner at the hotel was good fun with all the hosts being very friendly.
Employees spoke about sports teams they are involved with as well as opportunities to volunteer.
A good chance to learn about the company and a foot in the door for future roles at Deloitte.
