  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Participated in Women of Tomorrow programme. Really enjoyed it and met some lovely people.

    • All employees were friendly and happy to answer any questions. Made everyone feel very welcome.

    • The programme really helped me understand banking. Received a lot of guidance throughout the three days.

    • Found a lot of valuable information which will definitely help me in the future.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The structure was fantastic. A very good balance between networking, presentations and games (trading and M&A)

    • Atmosphere was amazing, I'd love to go back there.

    • We had an interview skills and CV session which was very helpful.

    • We had a two hour work shadowing session. I worked with someone with sales & trading through which I was able to understand things such as their responsibilities and day-to-day routine.

    • The programme was specific to women. It really brought out how much Citi appreciated women and how much support they provide to them.

    • The work shadowing was definitely very helpful as I was on the trading floor. I could get a feel of the atmosphere I would be working in.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • We were reimbursed for travel and accommodation. Food and drink was provided throughout the programme.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Lots of networking opportunities with employees from different divisions.

    • Really good. People were happy to come and network with the interns and answer any questions.

    • Definitely. Really enjoyed the programme and it's a great opportunity to get an insight into the industry and how citi works.
