About You
I really enjoyed shadowing trainees as it is rare to obtain such an experience. I am also grateful for how welcome the firm made me feel.
Whilst the programme was only two days, the firm clearly stated that they wished to further the relationship in the future.
There were sessions on applications, commercial awareness and personal branding, making the scheme relevant for now and the future.
I wouldn't say it was relevant to my degree entirely, but it has assured me that this was the correct career path.
The Company
Clear timetable, ran on time, everyone knew what they were doing and when.
There was a fun, friendly atmosphere in which everyone got along.
For a two day scheme, there was a lot of investment into us as individuals.
The shadowing was particularly useful in demonstrating the work undertaken by the firm.
It is difficult to gain an insight into the culture in 2 days, but with plenty of time to talk to trainee there was a lot to take away.
It has reaffirmed my commitment to this career path.
Everything Else
I received travel expenses.
There were several opportunities, formal and informal, to meet trainees.
There was a highly enjoyable social activity involving a cookery class, as well as ample opportunities to network.
There was some mention of the many different opportunities outside of work.
Without a doubt!
