The Role
Very friendly people, particularly impressed by the head of Graduate Recruitment, Edward Walker, who constantly went out of his way to make sure everyone felt involved and welcome.
With the complexity of law, it is difficult for a vac student to contribute that much, but I did feel appreciated.
It was quite flexible. One day I stayed till 8, but there was never much pressure to past 6.
The Company
Seemed a genuinely friendly place to work
Everything worked smoothly
We were given lots of talks and presentations
Really hoping to work for them.
The Culture
Everyone on the scheme was very friendly and up for going out
Birmingham is much cheaper than London
We were taken out drinking regularly
