About You
Overall it was an enjoyable experience, albeit a bit short
All staff were welcoming and made you feel comfortable
I was given a lot of guidance, especially with regards to picking a particular service line
Lots of presentations, so after the event I feel a lot more comfortable with talking in front of a lot of people
The Company
It was well structured, however they should have had more frequent breaks
The atmosphere was very positive. Everyone was welcoming and were willing to answer even the simplest of questions
Didn't receive much personal training but that wasn't the purpose of the programme
We were given an insight into each service line and "a-day-in-the-life-of..." style speeches. It would have been nice to have spent a few hours work shadowing someone
You could tell from speaking to the employees that they enjoyed their work and were very relaxed
Before the programme I had my eyes set on one particular service line. After the programme I am now interested in an additional service line, so I have a decision to make!
Everything Else
We were reimbursed up to £50 for travel. Accommodation was provided and was very nice
Plenty of networking opportunities with graduates and people in managerial roles. Would have been nice to have a bit more access to partners, but other than that I can't fault it
Networking dinner was nice but not all employees could hang around afterwards to network over drinks which was a shame
Found out through word of mouth. There is certainly plenty of social activities to get involved with
Yes. On the whole it was a very enjoyable experience and will certainly make you more focused on your career goals
