  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The summer insight week gave us a good overview of the all the divisions across an IB firm.

    • The employees were always involved in our presentation, case studies and were opened to questions.

    • Learn a lot about the company culture and I picked up a lot of leadership and multitasking skills.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Like the idea how we had a general overview of all departments first, then we can later choose to do some work shadowing in the division we applied to (during our online application)

    • The working pace in London is amazing. The work culture, work ethic in Bank of America Merrill Lynch here is superb.

    • They gave us a lot of support . Very professional and helpful

    • I would love to have a graduate position with BoAML. Very professional firm. Strong work ethic and working culture. Top class firm !!

    • The company culture is very diverse which makes BoAML a good firm to work with. Lots of people from different background.

    • Certainly helped me to know how an investment bank functions and operate. Would recommend you to apply to their insight week to see if Investment bank is right for you. Some people did not like the working hours in an investment bank.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Travel costs reimbursed. Accommodation was also provided.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • In an investment bank, it's all about networking !! We had plenty of opportunities to meet with the current employees.

    • It was very organised and there were a lot of recent graduates who attend to us. Very much like any other networking events, but find them very handy.

    • There are many organisations and interest group for their employees to get involved in.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?

    • It is definitely the perfect opportunity for you to discover and learn more about investment banking. They also have other divisions such as Operations, Finance, HR, IT etc if front office is not what you are interested in
