About You
The insight was a great way to learn more about the company and network.
I felt the company did everything to make us feel welcome and like a part of the company.
We had a chance to talk with long–term employees and those who are currently on the graduate scheme. We also received feedback after one of the team-building exercises.
The information I received was very valuable as I realised this is a career path I could follow even though I do not have a financial background.
The Company
The insight started with a quiz about the company. Next, we learned more about the company, met current employees, had a talk with graduates that recently started their job. After that, we had a team exercise after which we received valuable feedback.
The atmosphere was great as I felt very welcome and everyone had a very positive attitude.
Insight days lasted only a day but I learned from the graduates they received a lot of training and mentoring during their placements.
I felt like the graduates were not specific enough in what their job involves.
I understand company culture much better after the insight day.
The content was extremely helpful. I thought a career in banking is not for me but after the insight day I realised it is not true.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for the travelling expenses.
We have a met quite a few Lloyd's employees.
I felt like there were too many guests and too few graduates to be able to have a proper conversation.
I have learned that employees have a great social life despite the hard work and that they have plenty of time to volunteer.
I would strongly recommend this insight to a friend who is thinking of a career in a bank.
