Spring Into Deloitte Review

The insight was an enjoyable experience, enabling me to get a great overview of the range of service lines on offer at Deloitte and help me decide which insight would be most appropriate for me.

The staff did all they could to make us feel welcome, and the event felt structured but relaxed.

Deloitte staff were willing to answer all questions and were very approachable.

Some of the skills developed in the case study events allowing us to look at and analyse company information and date would be invaluable for future careers in the financial service sector.

On the whole the insight was well structured and jam-packed with events but there was a general agreement that the networking skills presentation went on for slightly too long.

We had a networking skills sessions which was useful but went on for slightly too long (in terms of the presentation) and perhaps could have been more interactive.

We got to speak to staff from all levels of the firm, including Partners who made the time out of their extremely busy days to speak to us and give us the history of their careers in Deloitte. This helped me to understand the day-to-day roles of the staff, but more networking with staff would have been useful.

The staff came across as friendly and approachable, and this was reiterated across all the different service lines in the firm.

It enabled me to decide which service line would be most appropriate for me.

Reimbursed travel expenses and provided with accommodation, with breakfast, lunch and dinner also provided during the insight.

We had one networking dinner on the first day which was very helpful in getting an insight into the lives of the staff but greater networking opportunities would be useful - although we did have the opportunity to speak to staff from the different service lines when we did the case studies.

At the networking dinner the staff told us about the initiatives that Deloitte has to give back, but there were no specific sessions on this.

Great insight to allow you to gain a vast amount of knowledge about all the service lines that Deloitte provides and Deloitte as a company in a short space of time. Invaluable in helping you decide whether a career at Deloitte is appropriate for you.
