About You
It was insightful into Retail and Commercial banking. With a group case study to go through it provided some further insight, however, it was full of talks which sometimes were not engaging.
They really wanted us to see what Lloyds had to offer and for us to want to continue and apply after the day.
There was not much needed, however, some questions asked were not answered fully.
Nothing contributed to my degree, but it gave me an idea about a career at Lloyds.
The Company
The day followed a structure which was rigid in some areas preventing further questions
Very friendly place to work for, all very welcoming.
It was a day which consisted of mainly talks...there could have been more interaction maybe? The talk was only from HR and then a woman who has been there for many years. It was good, but would have been nice hearing from each department and an example of their work.
Again, the only insight to what the company and positions do came from graduates that had to rotate every 10 minutes, therefore, I did not fully get everything.
You could see they valued their employees and were welcoming as I said before.
It was helpful, as I said more variation and time would have been nice, but I will apply now after not considering it as a career.
Everything Else
I believe you could be reimbursed.
Not really much time, it was a strict time limit, and at lunch there were very few/if any employees to talk to.
There were none.
Yes considering the flexibility of Lloyds it made people speak positively about out of work activities.
Yes, it was good and gives a clear picture of a career at Lloyds. Also, considering it is for 1st years, it is worth going and just seeing
