    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Audit is quite cyclical and there is a busy season from around January to April where everyone will work longer hours. Other times of the year the work life balance is better and more stable.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Initially given things that any first year would do, which is already more for our level given that we have not graduated. By the end of the placement you were given more responsibility and accountability for your parts of the audit. It was well recognised and rewarded when you worked hard.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • From simple things such as organisation of time and daily tasks, prioritising and managing the workflow to more complicated excel formulas and massive spreadsheets. Training was important as we did some of our exams towards the qualification.
