The Role
A very heirachical working environment, very unwelcoming. However, I was given some interesting piecees of work.
Partners were rude. But associate I was working with was quite friendly.
Not much help or feedback given. Some trainees spent more time explaining stuff to me though.
Very bored most days. Was just given "reading" to do when there was nothing to give me.
Did some research but not sure how, if it all, it was used. Feedback was little.
Didn't do much and recieved little help
The Company
Very dull. Associates seemed to be scared of partners. Very uncollegiate.
Little structure and again, spent many days just feeling bored. Would have liked getting any piece of work, even if it was photocopying but didn't even get that. Just sat at my desk.
Introduced to very few people.
Subsidised Canteen
I wouldn't apply...
The Culture
Rarely saw the other placement students.
Really expensive and I wasn't given anything to help cover costs.
People worked late and didnt go out
Was never told about anything.
