  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was a very insightful experience and made me fall in love with the company and its beliefs.

    • There were a lot of opportunities to talk to people both within and outside your chosen business area, which helped give insight into not just your business area, but to the company as a whole as well.

    • As it was only a three day programme, it did not do too much to assist me in my degree studies.

    • It was very well organised - we always knew where we needed to be and when.

    • People were enthusiastic, welcoming and everyone seemed really passionate about their jobs and Unilever.

    • We had different challenges and activities which helped us settle in and improve various skills.

    • We were surrounded by full-time employees the entire time and managed to see what their working life is like/

    • Most employees seem to be on a similar wavelength in terms of company culture, so it was present throughout the whole programme.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • The three days were paid for by Unilever (accommodation and meals) and up to £100 travel expenses were reimbursed.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • We had one-on-one sessions with graduates and staff as well as a networking dinner.
