About You
Although only lasted a day, came away with a better insight into the company and all the different areas within Lloyds.
Felt very welcome and that I was able to ask any questions that I had.
Plenty opportunities to ask questions to either the emerging talent team or current graduates.
Didn't really develop any skills, however received lots of information about the company and the application process for internships and the graduate programme.
The Company
Was good to hear from the emerging talent team, a current employee and current graduates. Some parts of the day did seem to go on for a bit longer than perhaps necessary.
Relatively relaxed once everyone had settled in.
As the insight only lasted a day there wasn't really the opportunity to develop any skills although there was the chance to take part in a mock group assessment.
Heard from a current employee and graduates about their first hand experiences.
Again hearing from current employees and graduates about their first hand experience was a good insight.
Gave me a lot of information to go away and think about whether I want a career in banking.
Everything Else
Only an insight day so not paid and lived locally so did not require travel expenses to be reimbursed.
Got to chat with current graduates and other people on the insight day during lunch.
As only an insight day for students wasn't necessarily the need for networking.
Learnt about charity work you can get involved with and the social scene between the graduates.
A good insight if you are considering a career within Lloyds or the banking sector.
