About You
It was an educational and eye-opening experience, I did feel a bit out of my depth.
Everybody was very friendly and welcoming.
A great deal of guidance about application processes, and the graduate scheme itself, was provided.
I felt that the Insight day helped me decide where my future career will lead. However, it did not add anything to my degree studies.
The Company
The structure of the day was almost flawless, very well organised.
Formal but very friendly.
It was only a day placement but I felt that they would invest in the future, if I decided to complete a long-term placement there.
It was very educational to spend a day in the company's offices and to meet staff and graduates.
The staff who spoke to us emphasized the high quality of the company culture.
I felt that I learnt a lot from the speakers as well as the other candidates at the experience day.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for my expenses up to £50
We had informal lunch networking session, which was very useful. We could also converse and make connections with other candidates.
They were very informal, and on some occasions I was unsure how to approach the session.
The staff members mentioned charity work and organisations within Lloyds Banking Group in which people could meet.
If you want to find out more about graduate training programmes, this experience is very helpful.
