About You
It was a well organised day with very useful activities. The main speaker made it slightly more lighthearted and more enjoyable.
Made it sound like they were lucky to have us there. And felt like they wanted us to work there, having embarked on the insight day
Did a mock assessment exercise that was extremely useful.
Will help me to work more effectively in a group as i have a better idea of what constitutes a better 'team player'
The Company
Very well structured. The day started with an introduction, then a talk from a senior executive at the company, progressing to brief overviews from graduates on the graduate schemes and then a mock assessment exercise.
General good atmosphere, helped by the fact the graduates seemed to really seemed to enjoy it and also by the woman taking the insight.
Was a short experience, but gave us a past assessment scenario, indicating that value was placed on us.
Graduates who were there gave us a brief overview of what they did and then they gave us a more detailed overview when they came around the tables.
Seems like it has a genuine and caring culture.
Everything Else
Had the opportunity to talk to the graduates when they came round and they were present throughout lunch.
Was not really mentioned by any of the employees.
Was a good and enjoyable day that allowed me to gain an insight about a good company and helped me start to think about my future career.
