About You
I found the Insight Day really verified my prior opinions of the organisation - which is that they have a really amazing culture there.
I felt we were all treated very well, being presented with relevant information, as well as the employees there being approachable and 'human'. I liked that.
The main speaker on the day tried to make sure that everyone was following along and people's questions were answered appropriately. The guest speaker (a person from management) also had a really interesting story to share and I felt that it was an inspirational one too.
We had a Mock Assessment Centre practice which I thought was really good. This gave me the chance to further work on executing my "future improvements" from my previous Assessment Day, and this turned out to be much fun. I have since reflected on this exercise and have identified areas I wish to improve in, which is great for my future development.
The Company
I was really pleased with how the day started. The main speaker welcomed everyone, introduced the agenda for the day, and clarified whenever a particular session had ended and what was to come next.
REALLY DOWN-TO-EARTH people. My friend's dad works at Lloyd's and spoke about how he enjoyed working there because of the great culture they have. I just went to verify for myself it this was as good as my friend said: and they were absolutely right.
We were given a mock Assessment Centre practice (the one they'd really done from last year); we had someone from Management come give a wonderful talk which had things anyone could take away from it. So I'd say to quite an extent.
The talk given by the senior employee was a good introduction into their area of expertise, which was BONDS, as well as the company in general. They shared their working experience, from how/when they joined the company to where they are today.
Need I say much more...Great culture.
Everything Else
Still need to send off my evidence...
It was great having the employees currently on the Lloyds Leadership Programme come share their experience of working at the company.
Really useful. Nothing too new but simply supported my prior views about Lloyds
I found out that Lloyds is committed different human causes and even have a charity were eveyone, including senior management are encouraged to get involved with. And the employees seemed to really love it.
Definitely.
