About You
After having that experience with Lloyd s Bank I am definitely highly motivated to work hard for a place in the bank.
There were many students and the purpose of the meeting was not to prove ourselves rather than learning some basic stuff for the job. I do not think I had the chance and time to prove my self something that I would really like to do in any other case in the near future.
Many employees talked to us, trying to guide us through their own individual experiences and knowledge. I believe that Lloyds bank employees tried hard to give us a hint of what is going on and motivate us to apply for a place.
Basically, an insight day is not enough to give you the chance to develop any kind of skill. However, I understood a lot of things which may help me in the future, participating in the group assignment.
The Company
I would say, it was well organized and the structure was quite good
The atmosphere was really amazing. I met some really nice people, everybody was willing to help and all of us had a perfect time in the end.
As I said the insight day has other purposes. They tend to educate students rather than train them. I am waiting for a new challenge in the future to know more.
They explained us in detail all of those small things they do everyday in order to make us understand what is going on working for the bank. It was really helpful
I have a very good picture of the company's culture after watching carefully the presentations and talking to some employees there.
I always wanted to do something related to the banking sector. That meeting just enlarged my interest for that and motivated me even more.
Everything Else
They paid my expences which was 22 quids. Not bad..They also offered us free lunch.
There were some opportunities, but in one day you cannot do many things. But it is a great chance to meet other students and talk about issues you are interested in.
We did not have so much time for social event opportunities in the insight day.
Sure I found, but I am already aware what I want to do outside the work. I just wanted to know what is happening in the work.
Absolutely. It is always important to get to know new situations in life even if you reject them afterwards.
