The Role
It was a great experience and I enjoyed it very much. I learned a lot and it was definitely worthwhile.
I definitely felt I was valued by my colleagues. They didn't treat me differently from each other which was good. I worked better in the team because I felt I was valued.
They gave me all the support I needed. Whenever I had questions or any problems I would just ask my manager or anyone in my team and they were always happy to help me.
It was the perfect balance of work for me. It was quite challenging but I thought I had the right amount of work to keep me busy each day which was nice.
My team gave me more responsibility as the internship went on. By the end I was making decisions and doing work that the full time employees were doing which was both nerve-wracking and exciting.
The skills I have gained on this internship - both technical and soft skills - are definitely skills that I will keep for life. It will help me for the remainder of my university education and also in my professional career.
The Company
Great atmosphere in the office. Really good working environment and I looked forward to coming in each day.
Really well organised. They told us what was happening and when the events were which was good. The mid-internship review we had was given plenty of advance warning.
Continuous training is recommended and they tell you to do the training that you need to do. Also some mandatory training that you have to do. It's really up to you to develop yourself but J.P. Morgan will help you get there. That's what I felt anyway.

Got a graduate job! So excited to be coming back!
The Culture
Great social scene. Went out after work often to get to know each other. Got to know some great people.
Pretty expensive if you don't plan for it but generally manageable.
Amazing nightlife. Had so much fun in London!
The internship team organised regular events for the interns and graduates so we got out often. It was good to socialise and get to know other people from the company.
