  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The job was varied and always busy with good support and training given. I very much enjoyed my job.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I very quickly felt like an integral part of the team - within a few weeks it didnt feel like a placement and I am hoping to return on their graduate program

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I have regular 1:1 meetings with my manager to discuss my progress and development. The management are also approachable and helpful on a day to day basis

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was extremely busy - often working outside of normal office hours - that might not be ideal for some but it suits my personality

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a high level of responsibility and had to meet many deadlines on pieces of work which would be reviewed by senior management and regularly run meetings and conference calls.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have improved my skills in time management, public speaking and in my opinion most importantly learned how to operate in a large company. As well as improving my technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Professional but the team also new how to enjoy themselves - when we had the time

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The team I worked in was excellent and were very well organised - the HR dept less so but it didn't detract from the experience

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Training was made available for everything from specific software training to time management to ergonomics! This was supported by on the job help from experienced staff whenever it was needed.

  • Very appealing and I will be applying to their graduate program

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I believe so but I didn't socialise with them (due to my next point).

  • Not applicable to me as I live at home in Central London (Zone 1) and commuted to work.

  • Not applicable as I live and work in different places.

  • We did lots of volunteering activities
