The Role
I enjoyed working in the environment. The role however wasn't for me.
My work was quite independent so didn't get too much feedback / support on my work.
Placement managers were great supervisors. My task manager could have been more help.
Very varied. Busy one minute, and quiet the next. Helped learn about organisation and time management though.
I was in charge of the role I did, but I didn't feel there was much responsibility.
Good skills learnt which will help in my final year. Time management / organisation, as well as a feel for what it would be like to work in business.
The Company
Working with other placement students made it more enjoyable.
Very well organised, placement managers are always on hand to help.
A lot of courses can be taken to improve employability / skills workshops throughout the year too.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Feel it is difficult for anyone to achieve a job here as a Graduate, regardless of if you have worked here or not previously.
The Culture
Yes
Portsmouth is a good student town, and rent is alright.
Student nights during term time etc
If you wanted to, you could get involved
