  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have thoroughly enjoyed my role at IBM!

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I was welcomed into my team really well - I feel like I fit in quickly and have never been treated like a placement student but more like a permanent member of staff.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • If ever I needed anything from my manager(s) I would just ask and they would help as much as they could, or point me in the direction of someone who would.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I had a good balance of busy days with quieter days, if I was ever too quiet I could ask for more work, or it would give me a good opportunity to use IBMs amazing online education or take on tasks that I wouldn't usually do in my day to day role.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • In my job, I was responsible for organising and running inductions for all new starters - this meant that if the job wasn't done by me, it wouldn't be done at all.. This made me feel valued by my team and by IBM.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Whether or not the skills I have learned will benefit me in my final year of university, I know they will help me in later life, once I have graduated and returned to a working life. I have gained new people skills, as well as skills that will benefit me in the long run throughout my life.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I loved my working environment, I sat with other students in the same position as me, but I was also surrounded by managers too this gave me a good balance throughout my time at IBM.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • 5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
