About You
As this was an insight day, there was a lot of useful information about the diversity of jobs and opportunities within Lloyds Banking Group.
The hosts where polite, friendly and easy-going. Easy to ask questions and to small-talk.
A lot of valuable information regarding the activities of Lloyds Banking Group. Well tailored towards students and 'next-steps' for students interested in getting further involved with Lloyds.
To some extent it did help me as I received information I did not know prior to the insight day. With that in mind, you can only fit so much into an insight day. Overall, it did provide a good foundation to further explore what Lloyds does, and not at least the networking opportunity.
The Company
Minor issues in the beginning, as the reception had not been made aware of the event. After this, things went smoothly and easy.
Good. Easy to introduce yourself and get to know the other participants.
Again, insight day. Only lasted for 6-7 hours. However, during those 6-7 hours, the focus is on you and you have the opportunity to ask or comment on anything, which we were encouraged to do as well.
It provided a valuable introduction to life and work at Lloyds Banking Group. That was especially so with the Graduate program, we had the opportunity to talk with graduates about their daily-life at Lloyds and they also gave a presentation which for me was insightful.
Solid focus on the culture and values of the company.
New impressions and experiences are always valuable with regards to forming a potential career path. The day definitely enhanced my impression of Lloyds Banking Group.
Everything Else
Expenses reimbursed if you had to pay to get there.
Easy to network with current employees as well as participants of the program.
Very good. Several people sitting around a table easily facilitated small-talks and networking. So did the lunch and the case at the end of the day.
Good information about internships and what Lloyds Banking Group is looking for in potential new employees.
If you are curious about Lloyds Banking Group, this is definitely a nice opportunity to get to find out more.
