The Role
Fantastic opportunity to work in the real world, specifically in local goverment and public sector. Opportunity to work on big government projects.
Overall, fantastic department and brilliant small team on 3 that I worked in.
Busy, running around, fixing/resolving IT problems, dealing with staff and public library pcs and systems. Brilliant.
As only 3 in team, from early on, I was handling same level of work as senior colleague and manager. Also assigned set number of libraries to go to to demonstrate new systems and carry out staff training.
Lots of transferable skills gained and improved and in terms of skills for degree studies, was spot on and led to gaining graduate employment.
The Company
Great atmosphere.
Good, applied myself and set up by myself.
Carried out a few training courses.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Initially got a temp job with them after graduatingk not directly related to my degree but was still fortunate to be offered something due to my successful year with them.
The Culture

My hometown, living with parents, 5 min walk to work so yes for me, cheap as chips! Can move out there or travel 1 hour from London marylebone.
Fairly okay, but nearby spots of Wycombe, Watford, Milton Keynes and Hemel are not far.
As local council, lots of things going on all over the county!
