The Role
Really enjoyed the work and the environment. Great experience, best year of uni so far!
Felt like I was really part of the team very soon after starting my placement
A bit more guidance would have helped but the majority of the time I felt like I had enough support
Depended on the time of year. Sometimes extremely busy, other times less so
Depended on what projects I was working on. Responsibility definitely stepped up as year progressed
Time management, organisational skills I learnt were invaluable and will definitely help in future career/studies
The Company
Always something going on, never a dull moment
Scheme in general way extremely well run although I felt my particular position was lacking slightly
Always included in lab training and people were very willing to help you expand your knowledge
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Limited science opportunities although graduate scheme on the whole has wider opportunities
The Culture
Very good, tightly knit placement group and graduates
Rent very reasonable, socialising slightly above average
Leaves a little to be desired but with a good group you can have a good night!
Not much. Limited opportunities
