The Role
I really enjoyed working with the company, getting out of bed was never a struggle.
Settling in was made really easy for me, other new starters especially made me feel comfortable in the office.
My mentor was very helpful particularly across the first three weeks, I was pushed out of my comfort zone but it was exactly what I needed. The challenges kept me engaged and added to my confidence significantly.
Plenty of tasks to get through, various tasks which could be rotated to prevent too much repetition.
I was set projects to continue with, if I needed help I could ask but I was trusted a lot by the team.
In terms of self and time management, these skills will definitely serve me well in the forthcoming year. Integrating into the work environment was another useful thing which I think will serve me well should I ever be in a similar environment.
The Company
Easy, relaxed, fun atmosphere. Even heated debates were diplomatic and calm.
Very well, I had lots of training when I first started, with hand over notes and constant support throughout the year.
I had frequent training opportunities, where I got to have time out of the office and go see our agencies and how they operated. I also had personal development training which gave me better working skills
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I would happily return for full employment if I had the opportunity to select a preferable role.
The Culture
Not only did I have frequent team socials, where we would try different nights out.
With the salary it is possible to have a good social life, I haven't saved any money... but have a lot of great memories!
The bars were always buzzing on a friday night, as everyone from other banks/companies came out to start the weekend with a drink.
There were often team nights where we got to try new things.
