  • Constantly supported by various managers/supervisors who have been available whenever you needed. Always easy to approach and to talk to.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • You are fully independent which means many times you will have to look for your own work. How busy you are on a daily basis depends on the tasks given to you from your manager, as well as those that you look for yourself.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Quite a lot of responsibility which was overwhelming at first, but became something you really appreciated throughout the year. Even though you are given a lot of responsibility you are never on your own and will always have someone looking after you.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills developed can only be gained in a workplace such as this one. However will benefit your return to university, specially when it comes to looking at everything through a wider perspective.

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • National Travel

    International Travel

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • No intern will be put straight into the graduate scheme after finishing their placement. Although you get the chance to apply back to the company as an internal hire, you will have to go through the same assessments as anyone else. The reviews and feedback done throughout your placement will be an advantage when new hiring managers look into your CV.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • They hire a very high number of placement students. They also hire a large amount of graduate students. The offices are full of young people undergoing development schemes. You will never feel like the youngest one, because tons of people around you are probably doing the same thing as you!

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is quite expensive, but the office gave you an extra salary to be able to cover all your living expenses. Socializing was quite easy as well, since the majority of people in your day to day are your same age and in general it's a city with loads of young people.

    5/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Central London. Lots of opportunities to enjoy the nightlife every day of the week.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Loads of programs to enjoy activities outside of work. From sports teams all the way to volunteering activities.

    4/5
