The Role
They throw you in at the deep end and give lots of major projects right off the bat.
Some days do slow down a bit when you're waiting for some things to come through but they're few and far between.
I took the lead on a number of projects that could easily have been acceptable to someone who works here full time.
The Company
I had a similar sense of humour to the other two people I worked with so we all got along really well.
My placement was sorted out right at the last minute so there were a few teething problems but they were all resolved in a few weeks.
I was able to attend numerous training sessions and lead some very costly projects.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
I would definitely consider coming back for a job here.
The Culture
I live quite far away from where I was working so I wasn't able to attend the majority of social events
Everything was very cheap. Much cheaper than at home
As I didn't live in Daventry I never went on a night out there during my placement.
Cummins has a scheme that all employees must complete at least one session of volunteering every year. There are also lots of careers fairs and the like available.
