  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Really great role, nice team to work with and great opportunities

    • Nice group to work with, treated as an employee and not just an intern

    • supervisor was helpful with work and gave lots of advice and encouragement

    • some days there was lots to do and many exciting tasks other days there wasn't too much and it could get a little boring

    • Felt like I would be comfortable with more responsibility, at times it felt like I wasn't given enough exciting work to do. Then other times there was lots going on.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • A lot! time management has improved. The motivation towards the degree has improved. It is nice to see what the light at the end of the tunnel is

    • When the team were in work it was very social

    • Slow to hear from HR. the process of getting the role is poor, but once in the role all the communication improved

    • A couple of training events and a 2 day induction

    • Subsidised Canteen

    • No progression, have to reapply but it is possible to skip a few steps of the application process

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Could have been better, but there was a nice group of students

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Based outside of London therefore accommodation was cheaper and nights out weren't too expensive

    • A few nice pubs, and 2 clubs nothing too special
