The Role
Much more involved with work for the company than expected and kept busy throughout.
Were helpful and took care of me.
Didnt deal with management on a regular basis but they were helpful when problems arose.
Most days were just the right amount but when there was lots to do on a particular client i worked much longer hours than expected and was reasonable for what I was being paid.
As an intern I was not expecting much responsibilty as all work is checked and scrutinised by those higher up in the company, but felt the work i did do was helpful to others.
Valuable skills including actuarial knowledge and common skills such as teamwork, communication and organisation.
The Company
Perfect balance between fun and sociable and hardworking.
Very well organised and all necessary training was given.
Sometimes my time could have been better utilised but generally people took time to explain process' or other queries to me.
Company Parties/Events
Would be very interesting in applying for the graduate job after leaving university.
The Culture
Right amount of contact with other interns, but no social events that were run without other associates at the company.
Expensive to commute each day and expensive area to live/eat/shop.
Only went out into London rather than St Albans.
Weekly football games and other social events
