The Role
The internship was very stimulating in terms of work and learning. There was a lot to learn and discover, which made the whole experience very enjoyable.
I felt pretty valuable in terms of providing help. My presence definitely speeded up the process for some employees.
I was given one supervisor/ mentor who provided me with the work and the guidance to go about doing it.
It was a good balance in my time schedule, not too busy not too empty. We would all have lunch together, and being the youngest in the office, I was given special treatment and work accordingly. T|he work was enough to keep me busy and the tiredness from it was all worth it.
I was initially given adhoc work, but was soon put up for more relevant work. This included individual work on a project, supporting and learning from senior colleagues and the opportunity to be a part of some major client proposals.
The project that i undertook during the internship, became the topic for my dissertation. so in all, i can say that the learning from there helped me to develop my skills in terms of research.
The Company
Pretty good, lively, friendly and on some days super busy
The set up was done well. the person incharge of me had well planed my curriculum for the three months, and kept me busy and learning at all times.
Not much, since i was just a short term intern
I would like to explore another field to set my career in
The Culture
There was nothing of this sort.
It was quite alright, manageable with the income i received
There was nothing there nearby. since the people at work were much above my age, I did not get the opportunity to interact with them on a personal basis.
A few, not too many. Mostly because these activities were not taking place for the time I was employed.
