  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Very well organised. Great firm. Amazing culture.

    • I was given more responsibility when shadowing than I thought, and they even paid for accommodation!

    • There was someone around all the time to answer any and all questions relating to future opportunities and how to get them.

    • My practical work on contracts and negotiations is a great motivation for pursuing it as a career.

    • Everything was organised brilliantly to the minute.

    • Competitive but that is inevitable in such a setting. Everyone there was positive and friendly.

    • There was a lot of support and they clearly spent a lot on us.

    • Shadowing a trainee and having an informal coffee with them was a great insight. They were very honest.

    • The trainees gave us a very frank insight.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I was paid expenses and they also paid for a hotel for the night.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • There were networking drinks one night which had a lot of partner and associate networking. I was able to speak to a partner in depth for over an hour.

    • Very good. The meal and drinks event was very effective.

    • I was told about the football and cricket opportunities.
