The Role
It was great, there are few things that I would change. A few more graduate/student events would have been amazing. As for actual work I had great exposure to various project and worked on a few.
Felt welcome, great culture and people were friendly and extremely helpful.
Manager and the whole team was busy but whenever I asked for help I received.
Some days I had only reading to do, eg learn about a software or about the discipline but others were good mix where I struck a good balance of learning and working
Early on I was given an important part of a small project. Then given another key document to update in a very large project as well as do early work on another large project.
Learnt valuable experience on new software as well as the way a consultancy worked
The Company
Sometimes quite lively but sometimes quiet and silent as work was done
Very well set up. Not very structured, ie with a program to follow, it was more flexible and I felt this was better.
A good amount, I was able to work on a few international jobs and gain an insight into a range of projects.
Very close to a job, one more assessment centre to go! Internship bypasses most of the job hunting process for this company and they have a record of employing previous students.
The Culture
Amongst the graduates it's been relatively new at creating events but it is growing. There is already regular events once a month at least and will increase in future.
Local so doesn't quite apply. Food can be pricey in restaurants as well as drinks
Petty good but expensive at weekends.....
Yes! Took part in two events of the corporate decathlon
