The Role
Very enjoyable. You have the opportunity to get an immediate insight into what could be your future career.
Colleagues are very friendly and definitely willing to guide you.
Support is available. It is in PwC's interest for you to perform well in front of the client. Of course, support and guidance do not have to be taken for granted, they will need to be requested.
I was busy during most of the internship. My work assignments were well distributed by the Resources team.
For being a Summer Intern, working for a 6 week period, I can say I did receive a lot of responsibility from day 1.
Coming back into final year, I have noticed I am applying some of the soft methods developed during the internship.
The Company
Spent most time at clients' offices, but when in the office, the atmosphere wasn't bad.
Organisation was great from day 1 and continued well throughout the whole internship.
During the induction we received a few training sessions and were accommodated in a very nice location.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
At the end of the internship I did receive a Job offer from them :)
The Culture
Graduates organised events and invited us to join.
Different costs depending to what you are looking for. Overall reasonable.
It was not bad but not great either
Several emails circulated mentioning opportunities to take part in different activities.
