The Role
Very relaxed working atmosphere, however I didn't particularly enjoy the day to day work - but this is just personal preference
Very welcoming indeed
One member of management seemed to take me under his wing and I received great support throughout.
Not rushed of my feet but always had one or two things on. A steady flow of work. Perfect
Aside from day to day work, I wasn't given much extra responsibility and rarely dealt directly with clients.
The construction of pension modellers helped me think systematically and the constant use of Excel helped me using mathematical software when I returned to uni.
The Company
Both relaxed and productive.
Had some work waiting for us when we arrived so we weren't waiting for it to come in.
There were no training sessions apart from the two induction days.
Enjoyable, nice working atmosphere, but the day to day work is not for me.
The Culture
A few opportunities for lunches out and drinks after work. The occasional football match.
Much cheaper than nearby London!
A few nice pubs but would need to catch the train to London for a good night out.
5 a side football, but that's it.
