The Role
I really enjoyed most of the internship - some work was slightly dull, but the people made up for it!
Almost all of my colleagues were extremely friendly, and very understanding of the fact that I had very little idea what I was doing when I first started. They were all great at answering my questions, and by the end of the internship I felt like I had made a significant contribution to some jobs
Managers, and people in charge were all extremely useful and helpful
Totally depended on what I was doing - some days were extremely busy, others were fairly relaxed.
There was a lot of talking to clients on your own, and by the end of the internship, I was far more confident in doing this than when first starting out
I am now much more confident when working with clients in the professional environment, and communicating with colleagues. There were also technical aspects to the work, and I've picked up many skills from these jobs.
The Company
Although everyone was very hard-working in the office, people were always up for a chat from time to time. Several socials were organised, and the overall atmosphere was a very positive one
We had already been assigned jobs to work on before we arrived, everyone was assigned a laptop upon arrival, and overall there were almost no organisational problems during the entire placement
The firm took all of the interns (roughly 170 people) to a hotel in Northampton for 3 days training, complete with meals and catering. Everyone was assigned a laptop, and we were all treated as regular members of staff during the internship. I had the chance to go to Edinburgh (from Bristol) for a week on a job too.

Company Parties/Events
I was offered a job, but I am in the process of trying to transfer to a different office, so it's not 100% certain at the moment - The prospects are extremely good though!
The Culture
Everyone was extremely social - we went out most Fridays, and had several pub trips! We also had lunch whenever people were about in the office (not very often!!)
Bristol is relatively expensive, but as I'm at uni here I'm used to it!
Again, as I'm at uni here, we knew all of the best places to go to! The nightlife in Bristol is great anyway.
There were several sports clubs to get involved with. There were away days organised for some groups (unfortunately mine didn't have anything going on during the time I was there though!)
