  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • very diverse, always great fun

  • Everybody treated me like a valued member of the team

  • They were always there if I needed help, but were always very trusting and encouraged me to get on with things myself

  • as all jobs, went through hectic and busy periods, but generally was a very good balace

  • I was given the trust to run my own projects, but also involved in other colleagues' work to help out when needed

  • I got to learn and develop great skill set, and also met some great people. opened up many opportunities for me.

  • GSK ran the recruitment and induction process very smoothly

  • loads of opportunites for further training

  • There is an opportunity to apply for fast track application for grad schemes at the end of my placement.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I was in a group of 8 students in my office, as well as another 100 within the building, so always loads of things to get involved with

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • outskirts of london, so not as bad as the centre, but most socialising was done in the city so still expensive. worth it though!

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • very little around where the office is, but only 20 mins on the tube to Covent Garden, so not difficult to get to decent clubs/bars
