The Role
The induction was particularly enjoyable as we spent a week with fellow interns. During the placement we met up again for training sessions which were not only valuable but gave us a chance to see everyone again and share our experiences.
Within my teams I felt valued and was invited to key meetings.
Really great support network provided by the buddy and coach mentoring system. My coach facilitated opportunities for me to shadow staff higher up in the firm and get experience in other departments.
90% of my time there I was booked to client work and was extremely busy.
I was given extensive responsibility and the chance to really contribute to the audit and audit file.
The time management and organisation skills I have learnt will be invaluable in my future career.
The Company
The office was not particularly exciting however the work within the audit teams was always good fun.
The internship was well structured with a variety of developmental workshops thoughout.
I felt I was given the opportunity to do things that you wouldn't have been able to as a graduate or a full-time employee such as shadowing and gaining experience in other departments.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I secured a graduate placement with the firm following the internship.
The Culture
The social scene was good within London especially within my division.
I was based in London. So cost of living was high.
Being based in London meant there was a wide range of nightlife available to me.
The assurance division I was working in ran sports competitions outside of work.
